Fourth of July - Fireworks!
July 1st - July 4th, 2009
TNT Fireworks Tent is being sponsored
by HOPE Foundation to kick off the first of
two annual fundraisers for the Phillipsburg
Community Building Renovation Project. All
proceeds go to start renovation Phase One.
Details about phase one will be available at
the fireworks tent.
The TNT Fireworks Tent will be located in
the ALCO parking lot on July 1st
through July 4th, 2009. We will
have
buy one get one free items and
be accepting TNT coupons.
Please watch your mail for all TNT coupon
flyers. Stop in and register for a chance to
win TNT Fireworks 2009 Chevy Silverado Truck
Giveaway promotion and free fireworks
giveaway worth $199.00.
All
proceeds from the Fireworks stand go towards
Phillipsburg Community Building Renovation
Project.
Donations can be made in advance by mailing

Phillipsburg, KS 67661 or dropping them in
the box in the entry of the Phillipsburg
Community Building.

We were able to raise $2,131.65 toward our
project.

The
Annual Telethon
First Annual
Telethon at the Huck Boyd Center on
October 17th, 2009 (4:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.)
We will be broadcast live on channel 17 for
those who choose to watch from home.
Power point presentation the night of the
Telethon will include all phases of
renovations, history of the building, and
its uses, and future access and uses.
All proceeds from the Telethon go towards
Phillipsburg Community Building Renovation
Project.
Donations can be made in advance by mailing
them to: HOPE Foundation, 171 8th St.,
Phillipsburg, KS 67661 or dropping them in
the box in the entry of the Phillipsburg
Community Building. Advance donations will
be announced during the Telethon.
We are
scheduling for talent on the night of
the Telethon. Please

Celebration of Lights Festival
and Annual Chamber of Commerce Christmas
Opening
Always the Friday
after Thanksgiving
This year's date is
November 27th, 2009 - 1:00pm - 6:00pm
Phillipsburg
Community Building - 425 'F' Street -
Phillipsburg, KS
Businesses, organizations, or individuals
can sponsor a tree or wreath. Sponsors
provide the tree skirt, decorations, and
lights. Trees are donated by White's IGA.
Wreaths are provided by each sponsor. HOPE
Foundation provides the tree stands, which
are to be returned back to the community
building during the first week of January.
Box will be set up in the entry way for all
returns.
Raffle proceeds support the annual
Celebration of Lights Festival. Details and instructions available on your
sponsorship form.
